This is a beautiful and unique hand knitted custom made to measure 100% wool skirtaloon made especially for you, to your own specified measurements. It will take about a week to knit to your requirements, once you let me know your measurements, so please contact me a.s.a.p. to let me know what hips and rise measurements, skirt length, inside leg length or bloomer length you require. You can also choose a different colour, if you prefer.

This auction is for a maximum 16" hips(unstretched - stretched measurement is 20") 16" (unstretched - stretched measurement is 20") rise, and 3" inside leg. I can make it bigger, but there will be a further supplement for larger sizes, as they will use more wool, and take more time! Please ask for an estimate if you aren't sure. Embroideries are not included in this auction, but can be added at an additional charge, if you wish.

These are knitted in a beautiful quality soft 100% wool yarn, and will not machine wash, as treated machine washable wool will not accept lanolin and therefore can't be used as a waterproof nappy cover. I have a range of colours, if the colours on the items shown does not suit you. They will be lanolised for you before shipping, so will be ready to use straight away.

Please note, I like to allow myself 14 days after receiving payment to make this item, so please don't expect dispatch immediately! It may well arrive well inside this time slot, but I don't want to rush it!

Used as a nappy cover over washable nappies, these make the Rolls Royce of nappy covers, allowing your child's nappy to breath and dry, without wetting other garments.

Because the nappy can dry while it is still on your baby, you will find this the most efficient nappy cover there is. For over-night, wool longies and shorties really cannot be beaten, as the nappy has to last a long time. This is the only type of wrap which will allow your baby's nappy to dry between wettings without wetting bedding and other night clothes, so when the next wee comes, the previous one has nearly dried!

Perfect for use with washable nappies, but these are also very effective at reducing soakings to you, when your baby's disposable nappy leaks! And again they work very well as that additional layers, if you are having problems overnight.

Hand washing is required, but because wool is self cleaning, and doesn't absorb smells easily, this will not need washing very often - just hang to air after use, and it will be ready to go on again the next day. If you are using it as a nappy cover, you may need to soak in a lanolin solution every couple of months, to keep the wool well lanolised, but this is a simple procedure.
