This is a beautiful
hand knitted custom made to measure 100% wool skirty with gorgeous
under-bloomers. It was my prototype version, when I was first satisfied woth the pattern I was writing. I have slightly amended the pattern now, so this one is going really cheap!
The measurements iof this skirty are
15" hips (unstretched - stretched measurement is 19")
15" rise (unstretched - stretched measurement is 19")
2" bloomer length leg.
This is knitted in a
beautiful quality soft 100% wool yarn, and will not machine wash. (Treated machine washable wool will not accept lanolin and therefore
can't be used as a waterproof nappy cover.) It is
lanolised, ready to use straight
away.
Used as a nappy cover
over washable nappies, these make the Rolls Royce of nappy covers,
allowing your child's nappy to breath and dry, without wetting other
garments.
Because the nappy can dry while it is still on your
baby, you will find wool makes the most efficient nappy cover there is. This is the only type of wrap which will
allow your baby's nappy to dry between wettings without wetting bedding
and other night clothes, so when the next wee comes, the previous one
has nearly dried! Fleece wraps work nearly as well, but can't ne guaranteed not to get saturated - wool wil actually absorb any overflow!
Perfect for use with washable nappies, but
these are also very effective at reducing soakings to you, when your
baby's disposable nappy leaks! And again they work very well as that
additional layers, if you are having problems overnight.
Hand
washing is required, but because wool is self cleaning, and doesn't
absorb smells easily, this will not need washing very often - just hang
to air after use, and it will be ready to go on again the next day. If
you are using it as a nappy cover, you may need to soak in a lanolin
solution every couple of months, to keep the wool well lanolised, but
this is a simple procedure.

sure. I do not ship outside Europe.
